Sutter Basin EXP Meat (Single Reed)

This is our newly introduced Timber call for 2011. The call is designed for the hard core single reed duck hunter who wants full on performance in an easy blowing call. Tracking on the EXP Meat is amazing and allows everything from clear hail calls, low end whines, soft quacks to the most seductive feedcalls on the market today. You won’t find top end ringing in this call, but you will find loads of pure duck sounds.

New for 2011, we’re proud to introduce our first competition / open water single reed call. Hands down, this call screams!! Full top end ring when you need it with effortless tracking down through a comeback to a lonesome hen. Once again, Sutter Basin has gone back to the drawing board to bring you a completely new call design. If you’re into extreme duck hunting and need maximum volume without loss of control, this is the call you’ll want on your lanyard this season. Note that the barrel and insert are friction fitted and do not rely on an “O” ring keeper.

Tule Call Short Barrel (Double Reed)

While the entire line-up of single reed Sutter Basin Duck Calls are easy to blow, some of our customers simply prefer a double reed call and find them easier to control. Unfortunately, in the past these hunters had to settle for lower quality, mass produced calls. Adding to the dilemma, these calls often failed to deliver a convincing full range of duck sounds.

Sutter Basin Duck Calls has solved this problem with our short barrel double reed call. Hand tuned with the same materials and quality as our single reed calls, we have developed a double reed that is not only easy to blow, but delivers great low-end rasp and ducky mid-range quacks and hails. This call is nothing short of pure duck, and even if you are single reed caller you will want this call on your lanyard. It's a double that blows like a single due to the J -frame design. Since its introduction in 2008, the Tule Short Barrel has been our number 1 selling duck call.

Tule Call Short Barrel (Double Reed) Wood Calls

Our double reed acrylic Tule Call (above) has been so popular that we are now offering it in two different woods: Cocobolo and Bois D' Arc. The wood Tule call is easy to blow, and delivers nothing but pure, raw duck sounds covering mid-range to low quacks and feeds. The wood Tule call is perfect for those times with little wind, still mornings or heavy fog when high volumes are not needed. We can tune your call for either double or single reed.

Black Pearl (Double Reed) Louisiana Style Call

Louisiana style double reed was fine tuned during the 2010 hunt season and produced amazing results. The Black Pearl was designed for duck hunters who like a “Grunt Style” call, and produces incredibly life like greeting and feed sounds. Best of all, the Black Pearl is easy to operate. This call is 100 percent pure hen mallard that no greenhead can resist, Period!

Crafted from fully machined acrylic with a double O-ringed insert, the Black Pearl will never accidently come apart in the field.
